Crysis (PC) Videos -BROADBAND ONLY!-

Hey guys .. I know that many of you hate it when I post video game stuff since so few people care about it, but you guys SERIOUSLY need to check out this footage from the Crysis multiplayer beta test that is going on right now.

I'm not in it, but several people who are Fileplanet subscribers got in and they are uploading videos and screenshots all over the place.

Here are three MUST-SEE videos that show just how realistic this game looks:

Just click play on each one and let it buffer.. believe me when I say that if you have broadband, it doesn't take long at all. They're all streaming videos and the wait is about 5 minutes or less for each one. *PUT THEM IN FULL SCREEN FOR THE FULL EFFECT!*

Reminds me of FarCry Predator on the 360.

Believe it or not, you pretty much nailed it .. FarCry was the game these guys first created (on PC), and this is their next big project. FarCry instincts wasn't created entirely by them (Crytek) but it followed a similar visual style with much better looking water and several other enhancements.

Crysis is supposed to be one of the best looking PC games ever released and the single-player demo (available to everyone) will be coming September 25 which is only 2 weeks away from now.

It's definitely going to be crazy!

Here's a video that pretty much sums up the storyline and shows more of the gameplay, etc. if you're interested.. it's much different from FarCry's story:

Just done a google search and saw where they are coming out with FarCry 2 for the PC, hope they make it for the 360 or WII. Also found they are making a FarCry movie based off the PC game coming out in 2008.

I'm not so sure about FarCry 2 for PC .. the screenshots look great and what they've said so far sounds cool (real-time weather changes, day-to-night cycles, fires that actually spread dynamically, AI that is actually aggressive, etc.) but Ubisoft's recent titles have been pretty lame and this is why so many people are skeptical about any of their future products.

What's strange is that FarCry 2 isn't even being developed by Crytek.. it's as if Crysis is a true successor to FarCry, while FarCry 2 is more or less a completely different game that's just carrying the FarCry name.
